Richmond Crèche & Kindergarten

We were privileged to rebrand Melbourne’s oldest Kindergarten (originally set up in 1856) and give them a complete new visual identity.

And since our child was in attendance it seemed more than appropriate to give something back to the community. An audit showed RCK had three logos in use at the same time. None of them held any brand value so we designed them three and asked the RCK community to vote for their favourite — and this was it. Beetles, bumblebees, grasshoppers, ladybirds and butterflies are the name of the five age-specific rooms.

Staff now have brand guidelines that show them how the brand can be used for external and internal communications. The guidelines are very flexible as we want fun to be had with this brand.

“We’re ecstatic with our identity. We feel really proud to literally wear our heart on our sleeves now”.
