Spin Music produced CD and DVDs for most of the national newspapers in the UK.
Back in the mid 2000s the phenomena of the newspaper CD/DVD giveaway was immense, often producing massive uplift in sales. Although the trend for these has now waned the newspapers still vie for fresh concepts and ideas to help sell their papers. We were responsible for the cover designs and in a four year period we produced over 60 titles, often tying together compilations and artists or reinventing TV classics and forgotten film titles. The ‘Sex and the CD’ title appeared on 4.5 million copies of News Of The World, a record in the UK for any giveaway CD. It’s much too rude to show on this website!
