We’ve worked with Jones Lang LaSalle in the UK and in Australia. We get involved with the promotion and marketing of retail and office space that can vary from single units to large scale shopping malls and landmark office buildings.
The work we showcase here is for The Victoria, a £24m redevelopment of an old 197os shopping mall in the heart of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, a large regional town 30 miles from London. Apart from creating a suite of promotional materials including brochures, pull up display banners and promotional invites for retailers our main focus was to design over 1200 sqm of wrap mounted hoardings.
The graphics themes are based on the British seaside vernacular. Fresh bright colours and reinforcement of The Victoria branding enhance the scheme for potential retailers. The hoardings also add interest for the public while the scheme is in flux.
“We’re absolutely delighted with Gavin’s work. The stunning graphic displays lift the whole centre and create real warmth.”

The effective Promotion of The Victoria was crucial to enable pre-letting of the retail spaces available. Over an 18 month period we designed agent’s brochures, and a series of display stands that detailed the opportunities available. Exclusive invitation only events were also held to tempt retailers to commit to the centre before it was finished.
The mix of CGI, stock imagery and photography really gave potential tenants a way to imagine themselves as part of scheme. The initial seagull design was inspired by the notion that Southend will now have a new town square and The Victoria is indeed ‘the place to meet’.
