Chops for tea
Found this image (actually a page from an old book being sold as a single page) in a local Castlemaine shop. Lady wanted $50 for it. Too steep for me so I took a photograph of it instead. Was that wrong? The original copyright must have expired. Does she own the copyright because she is selling it? Answers on a postcard please.
Actually think it’s a shame someone is selling a page from a book for $50. I’m quite interested in the rest of the book as well. No doubt said book came from an op-shop or garage sale for a few dollars and it has now provided a number of $50 1 page artworks.
See nothing wrong with your documenting of said book dissection and having the pleasure of the image. Be a great print wouldn’t it. Might have to screen grab my own copy 🙂
